General Description of Program

Troop 3 has programs available for all interests and experience levels. The troop goes camping monthly, with trips planned by the boy leaders in the troop. One of the annual highlights is spending a week with friends at summer camp. In recent years our summer camps have taken us to the Poconos, northern Vermont, Canada, and North Carolina. In 2016 we headed to Haliburton Scout Reserve in Haliburton, Ontario.

As boys gain experience they can join in on more challenging high adventure trips such as backpacking in New Mexico, canoeing in Maine, or sailing on the Chesapeake. Back at home we have an active video group whose edited shows are frequently found on the local cable TV access channels.
